Description
It is critical for the appropriate personnel to be aware if a system is at risk of failing to process audit logs as required. Audit processing failures include; software/hardware errors, failures in the audit capturing mechanisms, and audit storage capacity being reached or exceeded. Rationale for non-applicability: The mobile operating system is best positioned to provide support for management of audit failure notifications. Local applications can write to the local system log. Centralized audit systems are much more likely to be configured in a manner that facilitates meaningful incident detection and response.
